10 consortiums and companies were the winners of the competition with an estimated investment of R$ 15,3 billion.
This past Thursday (30/06) the transmission auction was held by the National Electric Energy Agency – ANEEL at B3’s headquarters in São Paulo. A total of 13 lots were sold, with a discount of 46.16% compared to initial revenues established, according to the Agency, generating an estimated savings of R$ 26 billion for energy consumers.
In total, the construction and maintenance of 5,425 kilometers of transmission lines and 6,180 mega-volt-amps (MVA) in substation transformation capacity will be the responsibility of the winners of the bid, which is expected to total R$15.3 billion in investments and the generation of more than 31,000 direct jobs during the facilities construction period.
HOMOLOGATION
As disclosed by Aneel, the approval of the auction is scheduled for August 23, with the date for signing the concession contracts already scheduled for September 30. The projects that were auctioned will benefit the states of Acre, Amapá, Amazonas, Bahia, Espírito Santo, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, Pará, Rondônia, Santa Catarina, São Paulo and Sergipe and are expected to be concluded in 42 to 60 months.
