Automation

STC - Solar Tracker Controller

The Solar Tracker Controller is the electronic device responsible for controlling the Tracker's positioning. It is fixed to the rotation axis, so that the motor it controls acts directly on the gearbox connected to the axis of this row.

STS - Solar Tracker Sensors

Solar Tracker Sensors is electronic equipment that receives field sensing, such as anemometers, pyranometers, or other types of 4-20 mA or RS485 sensors. An important function of this equipment is to measure wind speed and direction, sharing its data through a wireless communication network.

STG - Solar Tracker Gateway

The Solar Tracker Gateway controls and monitors several STCs and STSs through the Zigbee wireless communication network. It also provides an Ethernet interface for integration with the supervisory system via Modbus-TCP protocol and a web interface for monitoring and parameterization.

Anemometer Station

This station allows users to monitor wind speeds at locations that could pose a risk to structures. If necessary, alarms are transmitted remotely to trackers, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Key features

Power supply: single-phase 220 V AC.Communication: Zigbee; no communication cabling required.

Network Controller

It acts as a gateway between the Zigbee network of the trackers and the plant's Ethernet network. This enables monitoring via SACADA software. It is also essential for collecting and storing plant data.

Main features
Power supply: single-phase 220V AC, with backup battery. Communication: Zigbee and Ethernet.

Tracker Controller

Responsible for controlling a tracker, executing algorithms that determine the best angle for solar tracking. It also controls the gear motor to position the tracker.

Key Featuresof the
Power Supply: Self-powered, featuring a built-in 6Ah battery and its own photovoltaic module (
), which allows it to operate independently of the solar park’s power grid. Communication: Zigbee, requiring no communication cabling.
