Rainwater Reuse

Rainwater is reused in manufacturing processes, replacing potable water.

Rinse Bath Water Reuse

The water from the rinse bath is reused to create new baths on the lines, reducing the handling of hazardous materials.

Condensed Water Collection

Condensed water from the air conditioning systems is collected and used to clean the factory, including the safety lanes and production rooms.

Energy

Use of Solar Energy

Around 30% of the energy used in our operations comes from renewable sources, such as solar energy, promoting a cleaner and more sustainable energy matrix.

Energy from natural lighting

During the day shift, we take advantage of natural lighting to save electricity and reduce our environmental impact.

Waste

Sorting Contaminated Solid Waste

We sort contaminated solid waste, ensuring a more efficient and safer disposal process.

Waste recycling

77% of the waste generated by Brametal is sent for recycling, helping to reduce environmental impact.

Using Scrap for Internal Improvements

We use scrap metal to create internal improvements, optimizing resources and promoting a circular economy within the factory.

Changing Mercury Bulbs for LED Bulbs

We have replaced mercury lamps with LED lamps, providing greater energy efficiency and less environmental impact.

Sustainability and Reforestation

Reforestation of the APP area

Since 2019, we have been reforesting an APP (Permanent Preservation Area) on the edge of the factory, planting around 500 native tree seedlings.

Reducing Chemical Wastewater Disposal

We have replaced the chemical product used in the parts pickling lines, reducing the wear time of the bath and avoiding the excessive disposal of chemical effluents.

Brazilian soccer club based in the city of Criciúma, in the state of Santa Catarina. It was founded on May 13, 1947, under the name of Comerciário Esporte Clube. It currently plays in Serie A of the Brazilian Championship.

Grassroots Professionals Project

With an area of 110,000 square meters, the Criciúma Esporte Clube Training Center has 6 official pitches, two blocks of dormitories for athletes, as well as a kitchen with a cafeteria, a gym with pilates, a recreation room, an auditorium, changing rooms and physiology, medical, physiotherapy and psychology departments.
150 children and teenagers, aged between 10 and 18, train every day in the pre-mirim, mirim, infantil, juvenil and júnior categories.
The Training Center is already considered one of the largest grassroots facilities in Brazilian soccer.

It provides free lessons for socially vulnerable children and teenagers on brass and woodwind instruments, percussion and keyboard, hiring music teaching services, general project coordination and cultural production services, accounting advisory services, fundraising services and communication advisory services for the project.

CRIAR Project - Cyberbulling at School

To provide children and teenagers with cultural presentations and lectures on the subject of cyberbullying in schools, to make 3,000 copies of the book "Lana", to enable access to information through musical, theatrical and literary events, where the books will be donated to students in the public school system.
